Endurance training refers to working your aerobic system, rather than anaerobic. To think of it very simply, it's like running vs strength training. Some health benefits of endurance training include: strengthening the heart, improving circulation efficiency, and lowering resting heart rate. Functionally, endurance training is important for anyone running for the subway, chasing after their kids, or climbing the stairs of their five story walk up apartment.
